The Musashi Method

Not a workout.
A method.

A bodyweight discipline built like a martial art. Every set taken to failure, in the spare minutes of your day — no gym, no hour-long sessions. One honest set at a time, measured in hard numbers.

First rank free · no card required · no equipment, ever

The Ladder

Six gates. No shortcuts.

This is the Way of the Warrior — one of three journeys. Every rank is guarded by a trial with fixed standards. You meet the numbers, or you keep training. Attendance earns nothing here.

  1. The FarmerFree

    Trial: 10 push-ups · 30 squats · 45s plank

Everyone begins here — the full practice, free. Pass its trial and the path beyond opens to students.

  2. The Foot SoldierAshigaru

    Trial: 20 push-ups · 30 squat jumps · 30s bar hang

  3. The Ronin

    Trial: 5 pull-ups · 20 burpees · 30 push-ups

  4. The Ninja

    Trial: 8 pull-ups · 15 clapping push-ups · 3min skipping

  5. The Samurai

    Trial: 12 pull-ups · 30s handstand · 35 burpees

  6. The KenseiSword Saint

    Trial: 10 pistol squats each leg · 8 one-handed push-ups each arm

A day on the Way

No sessions. Minutes.

Training doesn’t get an appointment in your calendar. It happens in the gaps a day already has — one all-out set at a time, logged in seconds.

07:41Push-ups — 14 reps at failure · rated sharp

One set before the shower. Ninety seconds, done.

13:05Squats — 32 reps at failure · rated good

While the coffee brews. Nobody at the office noticed.

21:22Plank — 74 seconds · new best

Last set of the day. The streak holds: day 23.

The Rules

Four rules. Held daily.

1

Every set ends at failure.

No target reps, no leaving strength on the table. The last honest rep is the only number that matters — and the one you log.

2

No rest days. Only lighter days.

One set keeps the streak. The habit is the method; the muscle is the side effect.

3

Poor sets don’t count.

You rate every set — poor, good, sharp. A rep count earned with broken form never advances your rank. Five clean beat ten sloppy, by design.

4

Ranks are taken, never given.

Meet the trial standards in training, then confirm them in one sitting. The app watches your numbers and tells you when you’re ready.

Tend the Temple.

A journey for the long body. Breath, balance, mobility, and gentle strength: the four pillars the monastics built lives on. Most days are short. None are skippable. The body you train here is the body you keep.

The Form of Apollo

Sculpt the Statue.

A physique journey rooted in Greek tradition. The body is built as the Greeks built theirs: through volume, control, and the patient pursuit of proportion. No barbells. No machines. Just bodyweight, leverage, and the discipline to do enough of the right work.
